Daily Distance Learning for April 9th

Thursday, April 9th
Language Arts –
Review letter Ww – make a list of as many Ww words as you can think of.  How many can you come up with?
If you don’t already have a Child’s Dictionary, I would suggest you get one.  I have a Curious George one at school that we use to find words that start with certain letters.  Here are few suggestions:

Math -
Go outside and collect some things from nature (sticks, leaves, rocks, etc.)
Use those things to make an AB, ABC, ABB, and AABB pattern.
OR
Participate in the FPD Chalk Your Walk Challenge.  Students and their families are invited to spread some joyful reminders about God’s grace and love by decorating their sidewalk or driveway with a Bible verse, a blessing, a prayer, or simply a beautiful picture that represents Easter.  If you don’t have a sidewalk or don’t have sidewalk chalk, no worries!  Draw a picture and share that as well.  You can email a photo of your work to me or beth.burnsed@fpdmacon.org
 Bible –
Countdown to Easter – Good Friday.  Tomorrow is Good Friday – read Luke 22:54-23:49
Why do we see so many crosses at Easter?  Make a Cross Craft – get creative and do whatever you want.  Below are some ideas:
