Great Job This Week!

Daily Distance Learning for April 24th

Friday, April 24th
Today’s Theme is Space.  When I was your age space fascinated me.  I would have loved to be an astronaut, but I don’t know if I would be brave enough.  Do you think it would be fun to be an astronaut?
Science – watch my video.  I’m going to make a galaxy.  Try making one at home.
You can also find the directions on this Pinterest link:

Language Arts – On YouTube watch “Story Bots Outer Space”  This video ends at the 8 minute mark – you can choose to stop it then or let it continue playing with an episode about dinosaurs.
Draw a Picture of our Solar System.  You may include as much or as little as you want.  Don’t try to include everything.  Label your picture when you are finished.  Don’t forget to use the Capital Formation Chart from the Handwriting Packet to make sure you are forming your letters correctly.

These edible constellations are easy peasy and perfect for tot school, preschool, or the kindergarten classroom.Math – create constellations.  Use pretzel sticks (or tooth picks, straws, etc.) and marshmallows (or jelly beans, gumdrops, etc.).  You could even go outside and make them with sticks and rocks.  Be creative!
Make your own or use the pictures below as a guide:
#5 Phoenix #4 Pegasus
#3 Ursa Major #1 Orion
